Established in 2014.

Kevin Smith's barber career started while stationed in Iraq. Haircuts were still required every Sunday and it wasn't always easy to get to a Barber. Kevin began cutting hair every Sunday on the front step of his bedroom in Al Asad. After returning to the fleet Kevin continued to bring his clippers to the field while training. After getting out of the Marine Corps Kevin enrolled at Allstate Barber College and graduated in 2011. Kevin worked at Olde Towne Barbershop in Amherst, Ohio for 3 years. Kevin then opened Railway Barbershop in September 2014. Being a Military Veteran, Kevin offers a Veteran Discounted Haircut as a "Thank you for your Service."

Wes Williams was hired in January 2015 to help decrease wait time while also delivering the same professional service Railway Barbershop's customers expect. Wes is also from Amherst and grandson of former Amherst barber, Dick Williams. He took up his grandfather's trade and graduated Allstate Barber College in January of 2015. Wes joining Railway allowed the Barbershop to remain open 7 days a week.

Kaila Gavorski came on board in January 2016. Avon is her home town, Go Eagles! Kaila's professional training started in 2009 at Brown Aveda Institute of Cosmetology in Rocky River. She graduated in 2010 and went straight to work for a year at chain salon in Westlake. While growing up, Kaila's mother, who is also a barber, would allow Kaila to spend time at the barbershop with her occasionally. Kaila was always interested to hear about the stories and jokes her mom would acquire from a day at the shop. Allstate Barber College welcomed Kaila in 2015 where she took a "crossover" course allowing her dual licensure. With Kaila joining the team, we are able to have 3 barbers from Wednesday to Monday to help decrease wait time.

Brandy Lam started in February 2017. Originaly from Vietnam, Brandy moved to Ohio from Hawaii to be near her son while he attends College in Cleveland. Brandy has had her Barbers license since 2007.

Erica was hired to help with the rapid expansion and need for open appointments.

Jason started his passion for Barbering during his time in the military where he served 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired in 2016. He received a professional Barber kit as a Christmas gift from a close friend and he quickly took to cutting as many people as he could. Jason is an avid car guy, motorcycle and ATV enthusiast, and a family man. He attended Allstate Barber College from July 2016-July 2017 where he graduated top of his class. After taking the state Barber exam and receiving a perfect score, he joined the Railway team late July 2017.
